Bengaluru: Karnataka BJP president BS Yeddyurappa on Sunday said that the exit polls had proved his assessment on the party's performance in the state. He also added that the BJP would win 22 seats with no doubts.
Yeddyurappa said, "When I said I'll win 22 seats in the state, no one took me seriously. I'm sure now media will understand. All surveys are saying the same, it's not a surprise if we win 22 seats. It's clear that some big names will see a setback."
The BJP leader also said that Siddaramaiah had even admitted that the coalition has not worked for them and he has no surprise in the saffron party winning in Karnataka and many other states.
