The Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in Rajasthan, which completes a year in office, has a massive problem of women safety staring in front of them. A recent crime data reveals that crimes against women have increased by nearly 50% in the state in the year 2019. According to a crime data published by the state’s DGP Bhupendra Singh a total of 41,155 cases of crimes against women were registered in 2019. In 2018, the number stood at 27,594.
