The party functioned without a head for as long as three months after Rahul Gandhi quit as party president. The humiliation faced in the Lok Sabha poll was enough to drive Rahul away from the post. But is he really away? After several endless meetings, the party decided to ask Sonia Gandhi to once again lead the way for the party.
