Telangana missing girls case: Bodies of teen, minor found in Hajipur well

Hajipur: A minor girl’s alleged rape and murder in Telangana’s Hajipur village has led to the shocking discovery of the killing of yet another missing girl.

The incident came to light when the police found the decomposed body of a teenage girl in the same abandoned agricultural well that they had found the body of another minor girl.

The 18-year-old girl was believed to have gone missing from her home two months ago, but her parents never filed a complaint with the police because they believed that she had eloped with her boyfriend.

But, the family never anticipated that they would recover their daughter body from a well, months later. The matter came to light when the accused who was in police custody, said that he had found the teenager’s body at the same spot where a 14-year-old’s body was found.

Eight people had been arrested in the case pertaining to the minor’s death. The investigation team is also looking to trace the whereabouts of other girls who went missing from the village and its surrounding areas.
