Tamil Nadu: Rough sea causes giant waves in Dhanuskodi coastal areas

Rameshwaram: The Arichamunai stretch in the newly laid Dhanushkodi road on Sunday (June 2) remained shut for the tourists and pilgrims as giant waves hit the coast after the sea turned rough.

The tourists and residents of Dhanushkodi and Arichamunai areas have been witnessing a high-velocity wind for the past few days.

Rameshwaram sub-inspector of police Rajkumar urged the people not to venture in and around Dhanushkodi.
