Rameswaram: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and other coastal security agencies stepped up to tighten coastal security measures to prevent any possible infiltration from Sri Lanka through the sea route after a series of bomb blasts shook the nation on Easter Sunday killing more than 200 innocents.
The police officials have also provided security measures to temples and churches in the district in Tamil Nadu. The marine police of the Coastal Security Group (CSG) tightened the security along the coastline and posted fencing at all possible ‘landing points’ in Danushkodi and other coastal areas.
