Security forces hunt down LeT terrorists in Pulwama

Security forces on Friday killed two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants during an encounter in Braw Bandina area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. 

The gunfight started after a joint team of Army’s 55RR, SOG Pulwama and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area after getting specific input of two to three terrorists hiding in the area. 

The slain militants were identified as Irfan Ahmad Digoo of Naninabatpora Pulwama and Tasaduq Ahamd of Pampore. 

Following the encounter, mobile and internet service in the area have been suspended.
