Raichur villagers unable to stay or leave town

Raichur: Villagers in Raichur are caught in a conundrum. They can neither stay back nor leave their village.

Several villagers faced with drought and unable to grow crops, decided to pack up and leave. However, they had no buses to board. The villagers have only their local minister Venkatramana Gouda to blame.

Scores of villagers who had packed their bags took shelter in the bus stand, while waiting for a bus.

Several toddlers and children were made to sleep in the bus stand.
