MyNation Exclusive: Ramalinga Reddy affirms that he will continue with Congress

Bengaluru: In an exclusive interview with MyNation, MLA R Ramalinga Reddy when asked about his decision on remaining or leaving the party tomorrow, said that he will only repeat what he said when he resigned and stated that he will continue with the Congress.

He made the statement after the confusion of whether he would quit the party and join the BJP taking his daughter’s career into consideration.

BTM Layout MLA and Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy was one of the Congress legislators who resigned from the Congress-JD(S) coalition endangering the stability of the Karnataka government.

Reddy, however said today, “I will continue with the Congress.”

When asked about the rumour of an industrialist approaching him in an attempt to lure him to defect, he said, “I won seven times. I don’t need any help from any industrialists.”
