Muslims in Karnataka celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with grandeur

Karwar: Muslims in Karnataka celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with devotion and grandeur. The celebration was announced after the moon was sighted by the festival committee on Tuesday. Prayers were held in mosques in the wee hours of Wednesday. Special prayers were held for women too in mosques. Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy, former CM and CLP leader Siddaramaiah and BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa sent out wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Ramzan.
