Mathura: PM Modi met 25 women rag pickers and learnt how to manage plastic waste. He met the women when we was in Mathura. He also felicitated them. They also spoke about the problems they face on field, to which PM Modi responded positively. He also told that these 25 women will be made the ambassadors of plastic-free India. PM Modi also watched the live surgery of cows that fell ill after consuming plastic.
He took part in the Arogya Mela and also spoke to farmers. He asked them if the schemes of the government were reaching them. He also got details on Panchagavya and products prepared from the urine of cows. On the occasion, he also launched the programme 'Cleanliness is the biggest service' known as Swachchata Hi Seva.
