After a fierce campaigning, dotted with political violence and rhetoric, Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has hinted that she will try to make it to the oath-taking ceremony of the Prime Minister on May 13. She has, "It's a constitutional ceremony and hence courtesy demands that chief ministers should attend it if invited".
This move comes at a time when the first fight between the two parties is not yet over. Even as violence rages across Bengal, the Trinamool saw a massive exodus of more than fifty counsellors and 3 of its MLAs.
