Sealdah: Special Task Force of Kolkata Police on June 24 arrested four suspected ISIS members. The three arrested among the four are Bangladeshi nationals. It is reported that the arrested four are active members of Jamaat-ud-Dawa Bangladesh.
The police arrested them from the vicinity of Sealdah station parking lot. The police seized a mobile phone containing videos, photos, literature books and jihadi text from the group.
The arrested accused are identified as Md Jiaur Rahman, Mamour Rashid, Md Sahin Alam and Robiul Islam. It is reported that the three Bangladeshis -- Md Sahin Alam, Md Jiaur Rahman and Mamour Rashid -- had taken shelter in India to escape from the arrest. And the Indian was reportedly helping the other three to collect funds and even helped with recruitments in India.
