Kerala Vote Vandi to tour 140 constituencies to create poll awareness

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala has begun an awareness campaign on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the importance of voting. The 'Vote Vandi' vehicle will reach all the 140 constituencies within the borders of Kerala. Kerala has a total of 20 Lok Sabha seats.

The Vote Vandi will educate the youth about the importance of voting. The aim is to create awareness among the people about the electronic voting machines (EVMs) and the Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) system. Thiruvananthapuram district collector K Vasuki flagged off the Vote Vandi.
