Kerala health minister helps one-day-old baby after reading Facebook comment

Malappuram: After a Facebook comment by Jiyas Madasseri, who requested Kerala health minister KK Shailaja to help his niece, quick response and action was taken by the minister.

Jiyas commented under a post where the minister congratulated a Class 10 student, who wrote the exam while fighting cancer and achieved good marks. Just two hours after the comment was posted, the minister replied. Both the comments are viral now. 

According to sources, the baby is reportedly now on medication, and surgery will be conducted after two days.
