Kochi: Kerala has got its first electric vehicle charging station at an Indian Oil Corporation’s retail outlet in Edappally, Ernakulam. The electric vehicle charging station was inaugurated by Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
By 2020, 20 lakh electric vehicles will start to ply on roads, said Vijayan. With this electric vehicle charging station, Kochi has become the second city in south India to have EV charging station after Hyderabad.
