Karnataka Congress to disqualify rebel MLAs: 'We'll face it if the dissidents challenge this in court' says Venugopal

Bengaluru: Karnataka Congress leaders including general secretary KC Venugopal held the legislature party meeting to discuss the further course of action post the resignation of 10 MLAs from their camp. KC Venugopal said that the party has decided to request the Speaker to take the legal route and disqualify the rebel MLAs. Even if the dissident MLAs challenge this in court, just like what was witnessed in Tamil Nadu, Venugopal said that the Speaker's decision would be finally upheld and that the government would survive.
