Karnataka: Artiste dies on stage while performing Yakshagana

Udupi: A 50-year-old Yakshagana artiste Chandrahasa Hudugodu on Sunday evening collapsed while performing on stage during the all-night performance in Karnataka's Udupi.

According to reports, Chandrahasa suffered from cardiac arrest. Though he was rushed to the nearby hospital, the doctors could not save the artiste. Chandrahasa was accompanied by his son Pradeep, who was there to watch the show.
