First 4K theatre Lenin Cinemas inaugurated in Trivandrum

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala State Film Development Corporation's (KSFDC) first 4K digital projection theatre was inaugurated by Kerala transport minister AK Saseendran on February 27. 

Renowned filmmaker and chairman of Kerala State Film Development Corporation Lenin Rajendran passed away on January 14. The theatre was named after late director Lenin Rajendran as a tribute. ‘Lenin Cinemas’ as it will be called has been equipped with 4K and 3D silver screen. The theatre will have 150 seats. The movie screening in the theatre will begin from March 1.
