Amritsar: The 73rd battalion of the BSF is celebrating Vijay Diwas by felicitating the family members of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country in the Kargil War in 1999. The Battalion Commanding Officer (CO) Balraj Singh remembered the sacrifices of the martyrs and said that their contribution to keeping peace in India is immense. Families also expressed that they are proud of what their sons, husbands, fathers have done for this country. Singh also said that the day was dedicated to the families of the martyrs.
