Hyderabad: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Friday (June 28) called for a state-wide bandh in opposition to schools and colleges demanding excess fees in the state. Several schools in Secunderabad and the western corridor of the city declared a holiday.
The members also urged parents to take part in the protest. The group also urged the government to implement the Right to Education Act and form district fee regulatory committees. They also raised slogans opposing Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
