Delhi Police arrest couple with links to Islamic State

New Delhi: Special cell of Delhi Police arrested a couple with alleged links to Khorasan module of the Islamic State (IS) from Jamia Nagar area of the national capital. They have been identified as Jahanjeb Sami and his wife Hina Bashir Beg. The couple had been under surveillance for the past several months. The police alleged that the couple was planning to carry out suicide attacks in the national capital. A case has been registered against them and further interrogation is underway.
