Manchester: India captain Virat Kohli defended Rishabh Pant’s shot selection and said the left-hander will learn from his mistakes and emerge stronger after India’s 18-run loss to New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2019 semi-final in Manchester on Wednesday (July 10). Pant got out playing a big shot when the team required him to stay at the wicket in the chase of 240 after losing four early wickets. Kohli said some of the shots played by India batsmen could have been better.
