Karnataka excise minister H Nagesh had proposed an idea of delivering liquor door-to-door. The reason behind such an idea was to stop accidents and incidents related to drunken driving. But this proposal invited trolls. Along with netizens, BJP leaders too slammed Nagesh for this statement.
Nagesh soon made a U-turn and said door-to-door liquor service will spoil peace in families and will have adverse effects, thus the idea is not being considered at all. He even said that he didn't mean door-to-door service in his earlier statement.
