Norway: A picture of 19-year-old Oscar Lundahl holding a fish with giant eye (known as dinosaur fish) in Norway is going viral on social media.
Oscar Lundahl, who was fishing for a blue halibut had the shock of his life when he caught a dinosaur-like fish instead. Lundahl is a guide for the fishing company Nordic Sea Angling.
The image of Lundahl with the fish has been shared by Baja Expeditions on Twitter.

— Baja Expeditions (@BajaExpeditions)Lundahl spoke to The Sun and said, "We were looking for blue halibut which is a rare species about five miles off shore. I had four hooks on one line and felt something quite big on the end of it. It took me about 30 minutes to reel it in because it was 800 metres deep. There were two halibut on two of the hooks and I was really happy about that and then I saw there was something else."
But is it really a dinosaur fish?
The answer is no. It is a ratfish (Chimaeras Monstrosa Linnaeus in Latin). The name is derived from Greek mythical monster with the head of a lion and tail of a dragon, reported The Sun.
The ratfish lives in deep waters. Sadly even the fish that was caught by Lundahl could not adjust to the sudden change in atmosphere and died.
