When you're travelling avoid wearing synthetic clothes as you will begin to feel sweaty. Avoid wearing contact lenses because the air is usually dry in a moving vehicle, read on.

Celebrities have made the term airport-style famous and admittedly, all of us want to look our best when we're about to hop onto our flight. But have you noticed that celebrities usually keep it simple when they're travelling? It is common to find them in their track pants or loose pajamas at the airport. Just recently, Sonam Kapoor was spotted sans any make up and even donned her spectacles. If there's one thing that we can learn from celebrities, it is that comfort should take over style when you're travelling. Next time you're heading to the train station or the airport, keep these things in mind:

Avoid wearing synthetic clothes
This fabric sticks to your body and makes you feel sweaty. Opt for cotton kurtas or tops as you will be a lot more comfortable.

Don't wear contact lenses
The air inside a moving bus or even a flight is usually dry. This condition is not ideal as your eyes will feel itchy after a while. Bring out your spectacles on long journeys.

Pack your skinny jeans in the suitcase
Anything tight can be worn when you've reached your destination. Skinny jeans usually make you feel super uncomfortable as it clogs your blood supply, leaving you feeling weak and fatigued.

Baggy jackets are best avoided
This piece of clothing takes up too much space even if you keep it in the overhead compartment. Don't bother yourself with a lumpy jacket. Instead, opt for a shawl or a cardigan if you're prone to feeling cold.

It's better to keep your jewellery hidden
Don't want to attract too much attention? Then don't wear expensive jewellery when you're travelling as there could be theft.

Keep it casual
Avoid heels or any kind of footwear that's tight around the toes or the heels. Your best option is to wear sneakers or walking shoes.
