Three members from Telangana Jana Samithi have resigned from the party just six days ahead of Assembly elections in the state
Hyderabad: At least three members of Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) resigned from the party alleging they had to face injustice in terms of allotment of tickets for Telangana Assembly election.
Marri Sashidhar Reddy, his son Marri Aditya Reddy and another member Rachana Reddy resigned from TJS on Sunday. They alleged that TJS chief Kodandaram had done injustice to party leaders and cadres with respect to allotment of tickets. Rachana alleged that the party had sold tickets for a huge price.
In the current Assembly election scheduled for December 7, TJS is contesting as part of Praja Kutami, an alliance that is also called People's Front along with Congress, TDP and CPI.
Eight contestants are fighting election from TJS in the current election in Telangana.
