While addressing a public gathering in Vikarabad, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu ‘mental’
Vikarabad: Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu "mental" on Sunday during the ongoing election campaign.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief was addressing a public meeting at Vikarabad's Pargi ahead of the December 7 state Assembly polls.
KCR said, "I say Chandrababu is mental. Why? Because, he once said that the goats should be banned to save the forests."
"Naidu claims that he was helpful in putting Hyderabad on the world map. What should we do with this man," he said, hitting out at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president.
Meanwhile, on Friday, the Congress workers threw stones at a TRS vehicle and tore down the posters on the vehicle. As the news started to spread, the TRS workers rushed there and staged a demonstration seeking the arrest of the Congress workers. The police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
