"You miss 100% of shots you don't take": Sam Altman's response to Indian techie's DM proves it

Indian techie messaged tech billionaire Sam Altman on Instagram to get entry to an exclusive event. To his surprise, Sam responded and allowed him and his group to attend. 

An Indian techie online unveiled how he and his group got entry to an invite-only interaction with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman by simply messaging him on Instagram. Punit Pailal revealed that one day his friend messaged the tech billionaire asking for access to the exclusive event, and to their surprise, Sam said yes. 

For millions of tech enthusiasts, it might just appear as a dream; however, Punit and his group got the chance to meet one of the most popular tech entrepreneurs and have a conversation with him. 

Punit shared the screenshot of the messages on Twitter. The caption read, "i mean we messaged Sam Altman on instagram to let us in for an invite only conference and it worked lmao"

The post has several comments from all across the internet amazed by the text exchange between Punit's friend and Sam Altman. Commenting on his post, Punit wrote, "you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take @TheIshanGoswami"

One user wrote, "Putting yourself out there and taking small risks can really change the trajectory of your life."

Sharing a similar experience, one user wrote, "Yes sometimes all you can do is ask. I remember messaging the CEO of a training company back in 2018 for their course which was priced at 999 USD which was unaffordable to most Indians. She sent me a personalized link to do it for 100 USD."

One person wrote, "broo I am getting jealous, really want to meet him."
