Australian players – Alyssa Healy and Megan Schutt were involved in a nasty collision during their Women’s World Twenty20 2018 match against India on Saturday.
Healy and Schutt collided while attempting a catch during the 19th over of the innings. Both Schutt as well as Healy went for the mishit by Arundhati Reddy and ended up crashing into each other. The bowler who was going for the take lost her balance and spilled it.

Beth Mooney handled the gloves for the remaining nine deliveries as Healy walked off the field after suffering some concussion on the head. Healy did not bat as Australia ended with 119/9 in 19.4 overs while chasing 168. She suffered a concussion and is in doubt for the next match.
India won by 48 runs to remain unbeaten in the tournament. Both India and Australia had already qualified for the semi-finals before this contest.
Earlier, India opener Smriti Mandhana and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur played brilliant knocks to propel the team to 167/8 in 20 overs.
While Mandhana smashed a career-best 83 with nine fours and three sixes in her 55-ball innings and became the second fastest Indian to complete 1,000 runs in T20Is after Mithali Raj during her innings, Harmanpreet Kaur scored 43 runs off 27 balls studded with three sixes and as many fours to share a 68-run partnership for the third wicket with Mandhana.
