On the 110th birth anniversary of Sir Don Bradman, also known as ‘The Don’, Google has dedicated a doodle to honour the legacy of the late Australian cricketer on Monday.
Don Bradman was born on August 27, 1908, in South Wales and is considered the greatest batsman in the history of cricket. He scored 6996 runs in 52 Test matches at a whopping average of 99.94. With 29 centuries to his name in 80 international innings, Bradman is best known for leading an Australian team known as ‘The Invincibles’ on a record-breaking unbeaten tour of England.
His batting average in first-class matches was 95.14, with 234 matches, scoring 28067 runs.
Post-retirement, Bradman was a sports administrator, selector and writer for over three decades.

Bradman passed away on February 25, 2001 at the age of 92.
