Mohammad Irfan made the world take notice with his spell for the Barbados Tridents
For this Pakistani fast bowler, August 26 is a day that he will remember for quite some time. Mohammad Irfan, is all of 7 feet, and he ensured that the world would sit up and take note of his bowling skills as as he recorded the best bowling spell in T20 cricket. He is in the Caribbean, playing for the Barbados Tridents and in the CPL match against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. He bowled 4 overs, 3 of which were maiden and he merely conceded one run. The first 23 balls of his quota were dots and spent the only run on the final delivery of his overs.
With these figures raked up, it is no wonder that Mohammad Irfan has managed to break records. He broke the joint record for the best bowling effort in T20s held by Chris Morris and Chanaka Welegedara who recorded that in the 2014 edition of Ram Slam T20 and Sri Lankan T20 competition in 2015 where they conceded only two runs in their four overs.
The previous record of the fewest runs conceded by any bowler was held by Shoaib Malik, who gave away three runs in the CPL 2013 and he also did that while playing for Barbados Trident.

Still, the 36-year-old cricketer took to twitter to express his gratitude keeping in mind everyone's wishes and hospitality.
