The 18-year-old managed five wickets in the first innings on Wednesday and managed to limit the opposition to a score of 138 in 54.5 overs. Manipur in response could only make 122 giving Arunachal Pradesh the lead of 16 runs.

However, in the second innings, Rex claimed all the 10 wickets, repeating the feat first achieved among Indians by Anil Kumble. In his magical spell, Rex dismissed five batsmen for a duck. The highest scorer for Arunachal Pradesh was Shivender Sharma with 12 runs as their innings was done and dusted after a mere 36 runs. The Rex's bowling figures were a jaw-dropping: 9.5-6-11-10.

Manipur surpassed the target of 53 runs in only eight overs and claimed victory. With 15 wickets in his kitty, Rex was the star of the show.

Rex has already played in the big leagues with two Ranji Trophy and six Vijay Hazare Trophy games for his state. He has three wickets in first class cricket and seven scalps in List A format. After this performance, people have been wondering why he is still not part of the Team India set up.

Rex is the second player this season to achieve this feat. Sidak Singh, a left-arm pacer from Puducherry, managed this feat against Manipur in the CK Naidu Trophy. Sidak has played senior cricket for Mumbai.
