'The way he looks after himself, the way he works on his game, it's unbelievable. He is probably the number one in all three formats. He is someone to watch and admire and also learn from. I think he has been fantastic,' Tamim Iqbal said

Dubai: Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal is in awe of India captain Virat Kohli and described him as "not human" for the amount of runs he has been scoring in international cricket.

"I sometimes feel he is not human because of the way he performs, my goodness, the moment he comes out to bat, it looks like he is going to score a hundred every game," Iqbal was quoted as saying by Khaleej Times here.

Kohli has been in great form in all three formats of the game. He demonstrated his class yet again as he brought up his 36th ODI ton, against the West Indies in the first match of the five-game rubber in Guwahati on Sunday.

The Delhi right-hander is the number one batsman in both Tests and ODIs in the ICC Rankings. He needs just 81 to become the fastest to 10,000 ODI runs.

"The way he looks after himself, the way he works on his game, it's unbelievable. He is probably the number one in all three formats. He is someone to watch and admire and also learn from. I think he has been fantastic," Iqbal added.

The Bangladesh left-hander said he has not seen any other player like Kohli in his 12-year international career.

"...I have seen all the great players that have played the game in the past 12 years. They have their own strong points. But I haven't seen anyone that has dominated as much as Virat has," Iqbal said.

India will face Windies in the second ODI in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.
