Not only that, Karthik’s wife Dipika Pallikal has also appreciated it and replied in a sarcastic tone.
Pandya was full of love and appreciation for Karthik and the team spirit was clearly visible as he took to social media.
Karthik’s wife Dipika, who is international squash player, however, gave a sarcastic reply seeing the love between the boys.
She replied, “Clearly, I’ve been replaced. Thanks,” in a follow-up comment.
Karthik, on previous occasions, has also acknowledged that Pandya is a very dear friend of his. He went on record during his recent interview with popular anchor Gaurav Kapur in “Breakfast with Champions” show stating that he spends most of his time with Pandya and K L Rahul.
Owing to Wriddhiman Saha’s injury, Karthik is the first-choice stumper for the Indian team in the five-Test series against England. This is the first time since 2007 that DK is playing a Test series in England. Also this is his second series since his return to the format. His first was the historic one-off match against Afghanistan earlier in June in Bengaluru.
