Melbourne: Australian captain Tim Paine continued his chatter with Indian batsmen from behind the wickets and did not leave an opportunity to sledge Rishabh Pant this time.

In the 26th over of India’s second innings, Paine taunted Rishabh by reminding him that he has been dropped from the ODI squad for Australia series. He also suggested him to come and join Hobart Hurricanes for the Big Bash League.

"Tell you what big MS (Dhoni) is back in the one-day squad. Should get this bloke down to (Hobart) Hurricanes.. They need a batter. Fancy that extend you Aussie holiday, beautiful town Hobart too... get him a water front apartment," he said.

Rishabh, although didn’t respond to Paine, was surely distracted by the comment. He, after playing a defensive shot, went for a big heave that fell way short of the long-on fielder.

Here is the video of the incident.

Paine along with Aaron Finch were seen trying to put pressure on Rohit Sharma on Thursday, as he went on to say that he will support Mumbai Indians should the batsman hit a six.

Rohit too did not respond to the duo and went on to score 63 not out.

This series so far has seen the chat from wicket-keepers to drawn much limelight. Even Pant was seen sledging Mitchell Starc, asking him to hit a six during the first Test.

Also, in the second Test in Perth, Paine and captain Virat Kohli were involved in verbal volleys as the on-field umpire intervened and put an end to the banter.
