India vs Australia, 1st Test: Records that lay shattered in Adelaide

India's historic triumph in Adelaide in the opening Test against Australia saw a slew of records being broken. From Cheteshwar Pujara's memorable hundred to Rishabh Pant's 11 catches behind the stumps, Virat Kohli and his men achieved milestones at the Adelaide Oval. This was also the first time that India had won the first Test of a series in Australia

New Delhi: India’s historic triumph in the first Test against Australia in Adelaide saw some brilliant individual performances. There were records that were broken at the Adelaide Oval.

Cheteshwar Pujara was the standout performer for the visitors as he hit a century and a fifty in the Test. Thanks to his superb batting efforts, India registered a 31-run famous win to go 1-0 up in the four-Test rubber.

Apart from Pujara, Indian bowlers too excelled, taking 20 wickets. Now, the action shifts to Perth for the second Test from Friday.
