India are assured of finishing among the top two in their group.
In the women's section, India defeated Sri Lanka 38-12, and then Indonesia 54-22 in its final group match. They had earlier beaten Sri Lanka 38-12. The Indian women's team qualified for the semi-finals with an all-win record.
The Indian women's team will play the second-placed team in Group B in the semi-final on Thursday.
