During the inauguration of AIMS at Nemmara, Kerala, people turned up in large numbers mostly to see actor Mohanlal

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan was recently seen at the inauguration ceremony of an educational institute AIMS at Nemmara in Kerala along with the state's who's who, which included megastar Mohanlal.

However, during the function, Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan was seen visibly unhappy because the crowd which came to attend the event was cheering and chanting Mohanlal's name.

When the chief minister began his speech, he pointed out that people, who are sloganeering, are not bothered about the world outside the film industry. Meanwhile, Mohanlal did not respond to the remark.

According to thehindu.com, Vijayan also said, "Mohanlal is a respected actor world over. Everyone loves him. I know why you cheer and jeer intermittently. And I know your world is small and it is limited to what's around him."

According to the same report, Mohanlal, who was the chief guest, handed over the draft of the Initiative for Child Rights (ICHIRI), a new initiative by the Mangad Foundation to safeguard children from abuses to health minister KK Shylaja.

It looks like Kerala CM was not comfortable that the megastar took the limelight from the event which he organised.
