Rumour has it that Tollywood star actress Samantha Akkineni is pregnant with her first child. Her absence at a recent promotional event has only added fuel to the fire
If widespread rumours in the film industry are to be believed, Samantha and Naga Akkineni are going to become parents. A few months ago, there was some talk of the actress being pregnant. However, Akkineni’s family came forward and refuted the rumour.
However, once again, people have begun to speculate that the Oh Baby actress is pregnant.

After the massive success of her film Oh Baby, Samantha has been on a break. Sources close to the family reportedly revealed that Sam is taking a break from work and also conveyed the same to the producers who attempted to contact her to make movie offers.
According to a report by TollywoodNet.com, Samantha is pregnant with her first baby, but is not ready to announce it during the early stages of pregnancy. Reports also suggested that her absence at the promotional event of Nagarjuna's Manmadhudu 2 has added fuel to the fire.

The actor recently took time out to talk of embracing motherhood. In an interview with DNA, she revealed that she would like to take a break from work whenever she decides to have a child. “When I have a child, that child is going to be my universe. I had the greatest respect for working mothers. My childhood was not very rosy. For all adults, who haven’t had a very rosy childhood, the first thing they will tell you is that they want to give their child everything that they did not have. That’s something that has stuck with me. So, I think the first few years after I have a child, I would not be anywhere. That child will be everything for me (sic),” Samantha said.
Samantha, Naga Chaitanya fell in love in 2015 and tied the knot in 2017.
Samantha will be next seen in the Telugu remake of 96, which features Sharwanand. The actress has not given her nod for any other project.
