Film producer Shafeer Sait passes away in Kerala

Shafeer had produced movies like Aathmakatha, Chapters, Onnum Mindathe’and was working on Porinju Mariam Jose with Joju George.  

Kodungallur: Veteran film producer Shafeer Sait passed away at the age of 44 in Kodungallur after suffering a heart attack early morning on Tuesday. His last rites will reportedly be carried out today evening at the Kodungallur Cheraman Jumah Masjid.

Sait had produced movies such as Aathmakatha, Chapters, Onnum Mindathe and was working with Joju George for Porinju Mariam Jose. He also played a few small roles in and last shot for the upcoming film, Mera Naam Shaji, which is slated to hit screens on April 5.

The actor had reportedly felt some uneasiness on the sets of Porinju Mariam Jose and was taken to the hospital after the pack-up. He is survived by his two kids and wife, Aisha.

Eminent South Indian film personalities Manju Warrier, filmmaker Lal Jose, and a few others expressed their condolences on social media on his unexpected demise.
