A lip-lock scene between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna has caused major waves online and here's what the netizens have to say

Hyderabad: Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda’s much talked about the first teaser of his next, Dear Comrade, was released yesterday with a bang. The video received mix reviews with many even criticising the teaser, especially the smooch between Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda.

Though the lip-lock lasted just a few seconds, the brief glimpse shows Vijay kissing Rashmika. The film is expected to be romantic and action-packed. In the film, Vijay plays a student leader, and as we see in the video, he knocks a punch in the face of a person before the scene switches to him getting intimate with Rashmika.

This is not the first time that Vijay is kissing on screen, he has gone in a similar kissing mode in films such as Dwaraka, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam. However, Twitter is not impressed with the kiss. Some of them have termed it unnecessary while a few of his fans have termed him as the Emraan Hashmi of the South.

One of the fans tweeted, "Plz continue with simple behaviour we do not expect any lip kiss Be with good nature". The teaser has taken social media by storm. While some are quite excited about the film, others are not happy with Vijay’s kiss scene. Devarakonda shared the first teaser in all languages on Twitter and wrote, "Dear Comrades, Fight for what you love. You must. Your man, Comrade Deverakonda."

Why you want to project yourself always in an bad manner in every movies, Do some good family oriented movies. Lip kiss wasn't necessary in every film. You need better come back. Not up to the mark.

Vijay and Rashmika are teaming up for the second time with Dear Comrade. The two were last seen together in the 2018 hit film Geetha Govindam, which was a hit.

I don't know why makers add kissing scenes in movies? It is not imp if movie is good and it's not work if movie is bad.

In an interview with a news agency, Vijay was asked for his lip-locks scenes on Arjun Reddy because he was flagged for the same, then he said "When people watch the film, they would understand the purpose behind the scene. He kisses her out of love and passion. I don't understand what's vulgar about kissing when in a relationship. It's not like we have shot the lip-lock sequence in bad taste."
