While addressing a gathering in Hyderabad, Telangana, chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao said that he would put an end to corruption and make it a transparent administration.
Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister, K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday (June 2), said that the Telangana government would establish the highest standards in putting an end to corruption and bring in transparent administration.
This comment by the chief minister came while addressing a gathering which was organised on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day at Public Gardens in Hyderabad.
KCR further said that Telangana has surprised the country by its achievements. He also noted that Rythu Bandhu of Telangana government inspired the Centre's Kisan Samman Yojna.
Telangana chief minister concluded his speech by stating that the farmers of Telangana would be the richest in the country if irrigation projects such as Kaleshwaram lift project would be introduced.
On Saturday (June 1), Andhra Pradesh's chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao met the governor ESL Narasimhan and discussed the ongoing issues such as unemployment.
Every year, since 2014, June 2 is observed as Telangana Formation Day. The state celebrates this occasion with formal events across the districts. On this day, Telangana chief minister hoists the national flag, and ceremonial parade will be held.
