Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief MK Stalin took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi by calling him a ‘liar’. He alleged that promises that were made in 2014, were not kept up. The BJP in Tamil Nadu, however has pointed out the facts, leaving him embarrassed.
Coimbatore: In yet another scathing attack on the Prime Minister, DMK president MK Stalin called him a ‘liar’. He backed his claims by stating that promises made in 2014 had not been implemented yet. The BJP in Tamil Nadu, however has pointed out the facts, countering his allegations.
During a poll rally in Sulur, Stalin said that PM Modi had assured to provide two crore jobs annually, which would mean 10 crore jobs by the end of five years.

However, he went on to allege that the Prime Minister has failed to implement the promise. Stalin said that several educated youths in Tamil Nadu had told him that they were left jobless.
Furthermore, he claimed that several youths in Northern parts of India got jobs with the Indian Railways and other government offices, but not many from Tamil Nadu bagged the jobs.
KT Raghavan, Tamil Nadu Secretary and spokesperson of the BJP, said that this claim was false.
“Government jobs are meant for everyone. Across India, anyone can take up the exam and if that person clears the exam, he or she gets it. There is nothing about North India or Tamil Nadu about this,” stated KT Raghavan.

Raghavan also pointed out that the GDP in India stands at 7.5% - a feat that could not have been achieved, if the jobs were not created.
Stalin had also said that Modi had also failed to bring black money and deposit Rs.15 lakh in people’s accounts, which indicated that Modi was lying to remain in power.
Replying to this, Raghavan said that Prime Minister Modi was addressing a rally when he quoted a CBI officer who said that if the money that is stashed away in the Swiss bank accounts, is brought back, every Indian could have Rs 15 lakh in his account.
DMK president believes that after May 23, when the results are out, it would form the government in the State. Stalin also believes that the DMK would win all the 22 by-polls that would add to the present tally of 97 seats.
