Priyanka Chaturvedi hits out at Congress leadership for reinstating those who misbehaved with her

Chaturvedi said this while re-tweeting a journalist who attached a photo of a Congress notice that talked about how Priyanka Chaturvedi had recently complained about a few party leaders misbehaving with her.

New Delhi: Congress national spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi spoke out against her party after it reinstated some party leaders who had recently misbehaved with her. 

"Deeply saddened that lumpen goons get prefence [sic] in @incindia [Congress] over those who have given their sweat & blood," Chaturvedi said in a tweet.

Chaturvedi said this while re-tweeting a journalist who attached a photo of a Congress notice that talked about how Priyanka Chaturvedi had recently complained about a few party leaders misbehaving with her.

In the letter the Congress said that the party leaders were suspended following Chaturvedi's complaint. The letter added that the Uttar Pradesh Congress has decided to grant relief to the leaders and reinstate them following an intervention by Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Congress general secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh West.

According to the letter, the incident took place during a press conference that Chaturvedi recently addressed in Mathura. The press conference was about the controversial Rafale deal.

During the press conference, the Congress leaders reportedly misbehaved with Chaturvedi, prompting her to file a complaint with the party, the letter read.
