New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while talking exclusively to Republic TV Bharat on AgustaWestland middleman Christian Michel and the latter’s connection with the Gandhi family, said that it is not his job to accuse someone.
“Before the NDA government was formed, corruption cases were formed on these issues. However, the inquiry was always suppressed. I said find out the truth,” added PM Modi.
When asked if he thinks Congress wanted to give Rafale deal to some other Multi National Company, he said, “Defence deals have been the ATM of the previous government. They cannot even think that defence deal can be carried out with transparency. They were least interested about the Army.”

The Prime Minister also said that foe him, the nation comes first. “I want the country’s soldiers to become strong and self-sufficient,” he added.

BJP president Amit Shah took to Twitter to ask, "Does anyone know why Christian Michel passed on the details of questioning on Mrs. Gandhi to his lawyer? Did he want them to be passed on to Mrs. Gandhi herself? Why?"
