Lok Sabha elections 2019: NaMo Brigade, NaMo Again to stage Yakshagana

Namo Brigade and Namo Again, two teams having the theme of bringing Narendra Modi back to power will be staging a Yakshagana or a dance drama on the theme of Devi Mahatme. The dance drama will be performed in Mangaluru, Karnataka, on May 24, a day after the Lok Sabha election results will be announced.

Bengaluru: Extremely confident of their victory in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, followers and admirers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have organised a Yakshagana or a dance drama in Mangaluru, Karnataka.

The Yakshagana will be based on Devi Mahatme of the Durga Parameshwari temple, Kateel.

Devi Mahatme is a Sanskrit text describing the supremacy of good over evil. The goddess spoken here is Durga and her victory of the demon Mahishasura.

The Yakshagana performance will be held on May 24, a day after the Lok Sabha results are announced.
