New Delhi: Bhopal BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur is once again back with another controversial statement as she said that the opposition is using "marak shakti" that are dangerous to the BJP leaders.
She further went on to say that the opposition used evil powers for the recent deaths of former Union ministers Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley.
Addressing a gathering, Sadhvi said, "Once a Maharaj Ji told me that bad times are upon us and the opposition is up to something by using some 'marak shakti' against BJP. I later forgot what he said, but now when I see our top leaders leaving us one by one, I am forced to think, wasn't Maharaj Ji right?"
The Bhopal BJP MP was referring to the deaths of two BJP stalwarts Sushma, who passed away on August 6 and Jaitley, who died at the age of 66 on August 24.
Several prominent BJP leaders such as Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar, Anant Kumar and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee have died recently due to health issues.
Jaitley passed away after suffering from a prolonged illness, while Sushma died due to a cardiac arrest. Also, Parrikar passed away after suffering from cancer for a long time.
In the recent Lok Sabha election, Sadhvi Pragya was successfully elected from Bhopal. She had earlier made several controversial statements which had forced her to issue apologies.
