The actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, who is the founder and leader of Jana Sena Party (JSP), has entered the political arena for the first time after his party was formed in 2014.

Amaravathi: Andhra Pradesh went to polls on April 11, 2019 and the results of both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections will be announced on the same day (May 23) making it a crucial time in the state. Apart from TDP's Chandrababu Naidu and YSRCP's Jaganmohan Reddy, another leader who has made headlines was Jana Sena Party's founder and President, Pawan Kalyan.

This actor-politician has contested from two constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. In Gajuwaka constituency he is up against TDP candidate Palla Srinivasa Rao, who had also won in the 2014 Assembly election. Pawan Kalyan is also contesting from Bhimavaram constituency where another TDP leader Pulaparthi Ramanjaneyulu is seeking a repeat victory of 2009 and 2014. The actor-politician is expected to win from both Assembly seats in 2019.

Pawan Kalyan has of course been anxious to know his fate as a political leader off screen. His Jana Sena party has entered the poll fray for the first time in 2019.

However, the exit polls did not favour his party, but Pawan Kalyan believes that the scenario will change after the actual results are out.

Party leaders and workers, and fans across the state are eager to know if Pawan Kalyan's campaign will turn out to be a hit or a flop.
