Andhra Pradesh finance minister presents YSRCP’s maiden Budget

Andhra Pradesh finance minister presented the Budget 2019, which mainly focussed on welfare, development and corruption-free measures. There was no mention of any new schemes or programs.

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh finance minister B Rajendranath Reddy presented the Yuvajana Sramiku Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) government’s maiden Budget in the Assembly on Friday. 

The Budget allocations mainly focussed on welfare, development and corruption-free measures. There was no mention of any schemes or programs.

The minister while presenting the Budget projected a total outlay of Rs 2.27 lakh crore. While the revenue deficit was projected at Rs 1,778.52 crore, the projected fiscal deficit was Rs 35,280 crore.

 The minister also announced a provision of Rs 1 crore to each MLA, irrespective of the party affiliation, for addressing the drinking water problem in their respective constituencies.
